Nicholas Read – Principal and Managing Director

Nicholas has over 15 years experience in the media, public relations and investor relations industries, having commenced his career in the early 1990s as a finance journalist with the Australian Financial Review newspaper and Australian Associated Press before joining Jan Hope & Partners in November 1995 and becoming a partner in the business the following year. He became Principal and Managing Director of the consultancy in July 2006. Nicholas holds an MA (First Class) in modern history from Cambridge University in the United Kingdom, where he lived for three years until 1992.
Paul Armstrong - Principal

Paul has been a journalist for more than 20 years, including several senior positions both within Australia and overseas. These include the posts of Resources Editor and Business Editor at The West Australian. Paul has also worked as a senior business journalist at The Times of London and the London Evening Standard. In 2003 he was appointed Editor of The West Australian, a position he held for five years.
Kate Bell - Senior Consultant

Kate has 11 years’ experience in the public relations field, including 6 years in Sydney as an in-house Communications and Media Relations Manager for a national financial planning network. Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts (Communication Studies) degree from the University of Newcastle and joined Read Corporate in February 2006 as a Senior Consultant.
Mareena Weston - Senior Consultant (Part Time)

Mareena has 7 years’ experience in marketing, events and communications industries, having spent almost four years working for Paydirt Media as a marketing and conference manager. Mareena holds a Bachelor of Business degree from Edith Cowan University and a Graduate Certificate in Marketing from Curtin University. Mareena joined Read Corporate in January 2008.
